We have been busy learning and reviewing the mi'kmaq alphabet, days of the week, greetings, where I live, how old are you?, months, colours, numbers etc. We will be focusing a lot on music this year, for example bringing back the honour song, drumming and other music that is available on Atlantic Canada's First Nation Help Desk. This is a great place for kids to go and review the songs we have learned, everything that is being taught in class can be reviewed on First Nation Help Desk. Right now we are conecntrating on songs for the Christmas daddy.
