Our class elder visited us this week and went over animals and traditional foods with the class.  We love having Ralph as our class elder and we learn so much from him (except how to draw)  LOL

We love you Ralph!

The Grade 3 and 4 class participated in Take The Roof Off Winter!  We went down to the ball field and did some winter game stations.  We had a lot of fun and got to be active on a beautiful winter day!

Class DoJo is a program we use in class and we have been watching their amazing videos on Growth Mindset.  This is the fourth video and we learned all about how our brains make connections.  We loved it so please give it a watch.

Kim

The Grade 3 and 4 students read all about the Piping Plover a shore bird native to Nova Scotia and an endangered resident of the beach in Pictou Landing. They learned a lot about the bird's habitat, life cycle and predators.  They put their knowledge into some wonderful pieces of writing.  All their writing is displayed on our hall boards and we hope you get a chance to come in and do some reading!
